Every new product — and every packaging revision of an existing one — passes through the same ten stages: costing, copywriting, design, BPOM registration, halal certification, production documents, packaging, packshot, supplier production and delivery. Ownership is split across the team, and work like this typically lives in separate spreadsheets and a group chat — where the one rule that really matters is remembered by a person, not enforced by anything.
Product Information System puts the pipeline in one place. Every version gets a live checklist with an owner and a deadline on each step, and stages run in parallel — but nothing reaches mass production until costing, copywriting, design, registration and the production-document pack are settled, plus halal on the versions that need it. Six certificate types feed a renewal queue that warns 180 days out, and purchase orders pull in from Zoho Books. Costing, copywriting, design, registration and the production-document pack — plus halal on the versions that need it — must all be settled before a version can be marked ready for mass production. The moment it is, procurement and the version's owner are told, and the product moves into the production queue.
Every Permit On A Clock
Ijin Edar, Halal, CFS, LOA, GMP and ISO each live as a record with a number, an issuing regime, an expiry date and the scanned document. Renewals surface 180 days out, bucketed by urgency.
Purchase Orders From Zoho Books
Orders are raised in Zoho Books and pulled in automatically. Each line is matched to the exact product version it produces, and each order carries its production, ETD and ETA dates plus a six-document import checklist, two of them optional. An order covering a product whose permit has lapsed, or a version that has not passed the gate, is flagged — a warning, never a block.

A brand-new product opens with five extra development steps before the standard pipeline starts. Every later revision — a new pack size, a reformulation, a redesigned carton — starts a fresh version with its own checklist, target date and history, and a phase bar shows the stage each one is in.

A Certificate Registry, Not A Filing Cabinet
Ijin Edar carries its registration route — Kemenkes PKRT, Kemenkes Alkes, BPOM Kosmetik or BPOM Makanan — chosen at upload rather than guessed from the number, because the four routes come from only two issuers. Every certificate keeps its history: replace a document and the superseded one is preserved with the date it was replaced.

One Calendar For Every Date
Production dates, shipping dates, arrival dates, certificate expiries, version targets and task deadlines all land on the same month grid, behind five filters plus an only-mine filter. Every category is filtered on the server by the permission that governs it, so a role only sees dates it could already see.

Alerts That Arrive Once A Day, Not Once A Minute
Eight kinds of alert travel through three channels — the in-app bell, email and Mattermost. The bell is always instant; email and Mattermost wait for one summary a day, unless an admin switches a type to instant, as a mention or a gate crossing usually is.
